BulletHughes Drug Store/Apothecaries Hall Historic Monument

In December 1810, one of Charlottetown's first apothecaries was opened in this spot. Renamed Apothecaries Hall in 1874, the original building was replaced in 1900. A plaque commemorating the sites history hangs on the side of the building, which now houses P.E.I.'s famous COWS Ice Cream.

This Father of Confederation was also a P.E.I. lieutenant governor and Canadian senator. His memorial stands in Province House, while his marked grave can be found in the People's Cemetery.

Prince Edward Island's history of land struggles is commemorated at this active armed forces training base. The Brighton Powder Magazine was built in 1866, while there is also a monument to the uprisings of this time.
